I guess the only real news lately is...
Lillian and Annalee went to the homeschool skating whatsit with the Ys and came back about two hours later with Courtney Y and Hannah H, under the pretense that they were going to sleep over. So all yesterday afternoon and evening, five hyped girls have been running around the house, doing all sorts of strange girl stuff.
This hyped up girliness prompted Dad at the dinner table to produce another strange tongue twister.
How many toes could a tow truck tow if a tow truck could tow toes?
Try saying that fast!
BTW, Looney Tunes is good!

Girls are NOT the strangest peoples! You boys are way wierder. you never say things straight, you beat around the bush and use all sorts of annoying euphamisms - grrrrr!!!! :-)

Heyhey hey WAIT JUST A MINUTE! I did NOT say strange peoples, I said strange girl stuff. It implies that girls do some strange stuff, but it does NOT imply that they are the "strangest peoples".

ReplyDeletePerhaps that's right that it's little girls. Notice that I also did not note whether boys are strangest peoples or not (which incidentally, any RUFer guy is proof of). Yesterday I was feeling rather hyper. Too much sugar, too little space. Jumping jacks. Dancing. Walking in circles. I was practically ready to arm-wrestle myself. That would have been gruesome.
Send me a picture of that arm-wrestle, Shadow! I was making a very general comment; it had nothing whatsoever to do with your dear post or darling Shadow's comment. It was simply on boys in general. At the moment, I am feeling very very upset and thinking how much I will miss My Boys here. *sobs*
