Left for dead?

Hardly.

I'm not dead! I hope you didn't think so? Not getting any more or less alive here!

So you wanna (go back to Egypt)... er...

Life. Well, that is a deep subject. The most important criterion have been met... responding to stimuli and such... but to truly live? Now that's a different issue altogether. Or are we talking about conscious life? Rats are self-aware. Does that mean they're conscious? Define consciousness. ARGH.

No white rabbits for me! I missed the November period, thought about getting you then, but it didn't work out the way I wanted it to. Now I find that my brothers, both probably a lot busier than I, are more regular than I! This cannot be tolerated! Or can it? I dunno, that's all up to you. I think I'm past the third "post already", and into the 5th or so, then becoming a mere acceptance of the fact that I shan't. So now I do?? Does this truly throw the whole thing into reset, and I'll be bugged until the 5th "post already" again? More likely, it will be accepted that I don't very often, and it'll only be the second or third before acceptance is pressed upon the most loyal of readers. Ah, well, RSS is your friend. And so is Google, did I mention? Lets just hope they don't go the direction of... other companies *cough cough*.

It's all about the big picture. And unfortunately, this is nothing about the big picture. My train of thought is derailed by constant LD references, inside jokes, and cries of "definition, definition!" What, pray tell, has happened?? The looming, amorphic debate season has begun.

And obviously, there is little or no definite beginning to the season. You just know when you're into it. And I have this knowledge. It started to prepare for beginning this summer, when I was sitting in Schlotzsky's, eating a cookie. The cookie was pretty good. Somehow, through the many twists and turns we know as the internet, the voice of Mr. Sivils (my debate coach) came floating to my ears, oddly twisted by Ubuntu's noncompliance with Dimdim. Then was when we were planning, beginning our first steps into the "Idealism vs. Pragmatism/India policy" year, writing the basics of cases that will no doubt haunt us for the rest of our lives. Now, Joshua and I have gone through one tournament (practice, but still official enough to have us on edge for weeks). Joshua managed to get a hold of 6th place in LD, 8th place speaker. I'm still working on getting a better than half record. :-/

Next week I'm going to Mexico with Aunt Susan!! Oh, and Lillian and Annalee are coming too. Heard of this yet? Well, essentially we're building houses for people. And as long as we're at it, we're also helping out the local pastor. Pray for us, please.

OK, yall, I now must get to my Trig, Physics, History, and maybe putting flows (of opponents' cases) on the website.... And while I'm at it, trains of thought need to go all the way down the line :(
